Happy Chinese New Year
I would like to wish everyone a Chinese New Year sparkling with success, health, laughter and prosperity!
It is that time of the year again to prepare a list of auspicious dates to help you plan your Chinese New Year holiday schedule. These simple date planning can help you maximize health, laughter and prosperity throughout this Metal Tiger year.
1. Auspicious Dates to Stop Work
There are 3 days before the Chinese New Year that are suitable to STOP work for the year of the Cow Zodiac. You can choose 10th, 11th, or 13th of February (This day should be the last day you go to the office for the Year of the Cow 2009)
* Everybody can use these 3 days.
If possible, avoid using 12th of February as the last day of work. (This is an average day to stop work)
2. Auspicious Dates to Start Work
You can choose one of these auspicious dates below to start your first day of work in the 2010 Metal Tiger year.
Wednesday, 17 February 2010, 0605am-0800am, 1205pm-1300pm,
* Those born in the year of the Dragon zodiac (horoscope) should not use this day
Friday, 19 February 2010, 0605am-0800am, 1005am-1100am
* Those born in the year of the Horse zodiac (horoscope) should not use this day
Monday, 22 February 2010, 0605am-1000am
* Those born in the year of the Rooster zodiac (horoscope) should not use this day
Thursday, 25 February 2010, 1205pm-1300pm
* Those born in the year of the Rat zodiac (horoscope) should not use this day
Tuesday, 16 February 2010, 1205pm-1500pm (2nd Choice)
* Those born in the year of the Rabbit zodiac (horoscope) should not use this day
On the selected first working day of the year, just go to the office like any normal working day – call your customers, wish them happy New Year, do whatever you normally do. That is all (and you do not have to stay there the whole day, an hour or so will be good enough)
3. When NOT to start work
Do not start work on Monday, 15 February 2010.
